The three main characters (children named Eric, Julie, and Neal), experience the first of many adventures into the mysterious land of Droon, where they become an important part of that world's quest for freedom from evil dudes. This is a great series for readers who have outgrown the Magic Tree House books, and who like books similar to the Time Warp Trio. The books are pretty short, and there are a ton of them in the series.
